Bedrooms & Common Areas
What to expect from the lodge
The lodge at Mook Farm has three private bedrooms, a grand hall, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a nice front porch.
The Bedrooms
Each of the three bedrooms has a full bed, a dresser, and a great view of the outside, where you may find chickens, peacocks, or guineas foraging through the yard.
Although each bedroom is similar in size, they each have unique themes:
- Industrial Revolution Bedroom
- Teddy Roosevelt Bedroom
- Native American Bedroom
The Grand Hall
In the heart of the lodge is the grand hall, which maintains the flavor of the original general store, including the shelves, tables, and the post office store front.
This multipurpose space is normally setup with a dining room, living room, and library.
You can relax with some of our books, take a seat on the couch and watch television, or enjoy a meal with your friends and family.
The Kitchen
Our full kitchen is truly a marvel with its modern oven, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and washer and dryer.
Whether you want to cook full meals from scratch or warm up snacks in the microwave or toaster oven, you’ll find all of the appliances and cookware you need in the kitchen.
The Bathroom
The lodge has a new bathroom with everything you would expect: a shower, sink and toilet.
Porch
There’s a reason why the Professional Porch Sitters Union was founded in Kentucky.
When you’re not conversing or playing a board game, you can watch the peacocks roost in the trees, watch for rare birds, or enjoy the solitude of a beautiful, star-filled night
